Join Domenic Nesci, Co-Founder at Wealthi, as he explores one of the next investment hotspots in New South Wales and analyses different investment opportunities in the area to help investors gain further insights into Newcastle.

Newcastle used to be known as a coal mining and steel milling town until 1999. Today, this city is on its path of transformation from a mining town to a smart and vibrant city.

The city is undergoing a lot of changes and infrastructure investment which is helping to boost its population growth. Each year the ABS releases population numbers for urban areas of Australia with more than about 10,000 people. According to their latest release, Newcastle is the seventh largest city in Australia above Sunshine Coast and Canberra and this hotspot presents one of the largest % growth numbers.

If you would like to discuss the Newcastle property market in more detail, please reach out to the team to organise a time to have a conversation about how Wealthi can help you build a successful property portfolio.
