Australian property market prediction - April 2022

Last month I told our premium subscribers “…I believe the Sydney housing market has peaked” while I also explained “Rates have risen and the next few months will be more news on the front page of the paper discussing higher oil prices and mortgage stress…”

I guess that prediction has materialised nicely. This week Westpac, NAB, CBA and ANZ economists have all come out and revised their expectations. Readers of this publication will know that we were ahead of them by at least 3-4 months.

So below is my April prediction of where the property market is heading.
